The Internet is a great tool for digital photo processing and exchange. There are many more things you can do with digital photos and the Internet than just print them on sites such as Snapfish.

Digital photos are digital files stored on computer memory, either solid state flash memory in your camera or a mechanical hard drive in your computer. The fundamental thing to do with a digital photo to make it on a computer screen. The next fundamental thing to do with a digital photo to print it at home with either a normal or a home photo printer or by using one of the many online photo printing services like Shutterfly or Snapfish.

But there are many more things you can do with digital photos. Because digital photos are just digital files they can be processed in many ways, and copied an infinite amount of time without loss of quality. For editing your digital photos, you can either install and use software on your computer or you can use the digital photo on a website, the processing for you on its servers. The latter is usually difficult to use because processing takes a lot of computer power, most of these services are not free, and especially by professional photographers.

The Internet is about communication between people. E-mail was a great invention allows instant communication between almost everyone on earth. You can text message via e-mail, but you can also use any file to an e-mail message with a digital photo file. With E-mail your photos with your friends and family simply add a digital photo file type your message and send.

The problem with the use of e-mail for exchanging digital photos is that most e-mail services, the size of attachments. Digital photos are typically large data files. After the images can be uploaded them into photo albums, add a caption description of each of them rotate and some other basic processing and services such as Snapfish also prints on many different paper sizes.

Once your digital photos can be uploaded them by sending a special link to your friends and family. You can also define security features for each photo album so that only certain people to watch, or if you like it until the opening to the public. With services such as Snapfish you can also change the people you share digital photos with up prints of digital photos they want.
